So we were talking to the band and they still had a couple questions about what exactly we needed from them, how and when we could all meet up and talk face to face, and all that.
Their main question was the due dates, obviously, this project depends a lot on the timing and that's why we spend so much time planning and preparing accordingly for this. For all A-level kids, the final due date is 4/10/22 aka APRIL 10TH. We had previously explained this to them but we went through the web blog possible schedule route which might have been confusing to them.
After talking about the due date, they mentioned that they don't have a date set for the recording of the demo. This is okay because we have time right now but hopefully soon they can get together and record it for us to start thinking further and brainstorm more ideas after hearing the song.
here's once again what we are going to be specifically doing for the band and our project:
A promotion package for the release of an album, to include a music video (major task), together with an official
social media page for the band or artist(s) and a digipak for the album’s release (minor tasks).
For the social media page, I think Ana, Gerardo, and I are going to start planning what posts to make. My ideas right now are kind of all over the place but I think it is necessary to introduce the band members and their instrument, tease the song and come up with random/possible pop-ups. WE still haven't touched it but I do believe the time is approaching.
